Vipava Wine & Walk

Duration*: Start at 9:30 AM at the meeting point in the Vipava valley, finishing at approximately 6:00 PM at the third winery.

*The duration of the hike can be adjusted. (suitable for larger groups)

Hiking distance and difficulty:

– Approx. 11 km or 3 hours of walking for visits to 3 wine cellars / active, relaxed walking pace (Program duration 8 hours)
– Approx. 8 km or 2 hours of walking for visits to 2 wine cellars / active, relaxed walking pace (Program duration 6 hours)

Program:

•  experienced tour guide, relaxed atmosphere
•  organization and guided hike through beautiful corners and viewpoints of the Vipava valley
•  visit to three (3) carefully selected wine cellars in the Vipava valley
•  meet the local winemakers
•  learn about wine production and culture 
•  live music
• 1st wine cellar: tasting of 3 wines, snack/cold cuts with homemade local delicacies + coffee and water
• 2nd wine cellar: tasting of 3 wines, snack/cold cuts with homemade local delicacies + water and live music
• 3rd wine cellar: late lunch with a 3-course menu, tasting of 3 wines + water and juice
